"Unfaithful" is one of those songs that everyone thinks they can vid to, and with each video I saw for the song the more and more I hated the song. But Nida changed all that, because she really didn't take a stroyline and try to fit it to the song, she took the song and fitted the story of the song. She flowed effotlessly showcasing clips from various seasons, and cut clips so that fit. It's was a classice triangle that was never shown on the O.C, but totally should have been. She kept the video simple, but on your toes. It was beautifully put together, and true to the song which is why "Unfaithful" is the video of the moment.

Video of the Month (NOVEMBER '06) - Deadly Confessions

This is such a cool video! I chose this for a simple reason, I really enjoyed it. The song itself tells a story anyway and I have noticed so many different vidders out there doing a video to this song because it is perfect for a music video to tell a story. This video though, I did like more than most out there because in this one you do have to edit it well and use your imagination because of the couples you chose. Ryan and Summer, not a couple, have never been a couple but they way you put it together, it does look real. If someone who hasn't watched the show was to see this video the would definetly believe this story being told. This video has also made me look at Ryan and Summer in a new light. A part of me is now hopeing something develops between them to. So bravo, your video has manipulated my way of thinking.
Generally smooth editing through out, perfect for the music. Scene choices were perfect. If you descided to submit this here at Deadly Confessions it would definatly be a flip of the coin on 4 or 5 stars! *Adding to my obession watch list*

Okay Nida I must admit all of your vids are great, but this is one is clearly one of my favorites of yours...by far.
Since the day you put your Ryan/Summer layout on your site, I was hoping you would make a video of them, not because I hope they become a couple or anything, but I just thought it would be intresting to see a video of them by you. So when I saw your "unfaithful" update on your site I already knew it was going to be good. Or great... whatever. But when I finished watching it I was like "OMG, what the hell?". This video blew me away! I know this is a really popular and overused song , but I have to be honest, you did justice with it. I really mean it.
First off, an amazing storyline! Very, very believable. I especially liked it cause before watching this video, I didnt know what the song was about, cause I just heard it once so I didn't really pay attention to it. But while watching the video I started *listening* to it and since one the reasons I admire you the most is your ability to find the perfect scences to follow the lyrics, I was like into it, never wanting it to finish. I hope you know what I mean, cause I really suck at explaining detailed things, as you can tell.. lol. It's amazing how you can create AU's. I started liking them when I saw your OTH vids like "Starts With Goodbye" or "So In Love With Two", and this one, believe me, was no exception. So anyways, enough of this, let's just go straight to *this* vid, shall we?
I completely love the beginning of it. The fast cuts, and especially that Rachel scene, which I'm not sure where it is from. The 'but it keeps avoiding me' scene is so good! It seems like made for this part, especially because Seth wasn't actually 'ignoring' Summer, right? I mean, not in a bad, angry way..I think. Although when I actually said 'this is gonna be good' was in "the reason that the sky is blue". I was like 'this girl really knows what she's doing when it comes to manipulating', lol. I truly admire how you do it. Not everyone can think of such good scenes to join or whatever the word is, I cant think of it right now. So, lets keep moving. All of the "cause I know that he knows I'm unfaithful.." scenes, I mean all of them, are soo incredibly perfect. They fit so well! I especially like the second one (Valentine's day), because of Summer's expression. Just like all "everytime I walk out the door" scenes, cause, as I said, I love you when it comes to following the lyrics. Now, my absolute favorite part is 1:40 - 1:46! That was soo amazing!! And 2:29 - 2:33 is great as well.. another scenes I love: 2-49 - 2:58 and 3:14 - 3:29, yep, basically the whole video. When I read your description of the video and you put this "Will she do the right thing and end things with Ryan? Or will she continue to hurt Seth?" I was so anxious to see the end! And I hoped she ended with the one she loved! Damn girl! Anyways, in Thinking Over she ends up with Ryan..so dont worry, I forgive you..lol, just kidding. Needless to say, this video is flawless. So keep doing these, because.....well just keep doing them, 'kay? Hehe. Eveyone needs Nida's videos! Amazing job girl!

Obsessive24: I love how well the AU narrative came through in this vid, it shows off an in-depth knowledge of source. A very believable and well-constructed AU vid with a lovely sense of musicality.
Txlsplash: Since I have never seen the O.C., I didn't even realize this video was AU until Nicky told me. That's how convincing it is! The familiarity with the clips is shown by how the source is manipulated to tell such a plausible story.
